Sometimes life hurts.
We get lost in the pain, and then we lose our connection with our own soul. That pain is deep and pervasive. From that pain place, we need a little help to get back to who we are, to the truth of who we can be. That place of pain can look like depression, anxiety, panic attacks, fear, avoidance, and can sometimes land us in the midst of disordered eating or post traumatic stress disorder. Those are the labels our society has placed on that hurt. I call it a soul bruise, and it feels like standing in quicksand: afraid to move, but with a knowing that you cannot stay here. To heal the bruise and escape the quicksand, you need love, time, safety, to slow down, and to find a way to keep yourself protected while you heal and emerge stronger and truer. We have created a practice, a safe place, called The Journey Center, to love people out of that place of pain and fear, back to their soul of truth. We want to provide that safe place of non judgment, the comfort of acceptance as you are, and the time to devote to feeding your soul. I invite you take a look around this space and if any of us can help you find the you that you already are, give us a call.
